Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using the CloudSigma TaaS API platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
TaaS (Token-as-a-Service) provides OpenAI-compatible API access to a curated set of large language models, embedding models, speech models, and related AI inference services. The Service is operated by CloudSigma AG, Baarerstrasse 10, 6300 Zug, Switzerland.
3. Account Registration & API Keys
- You must register with a valid email address and maintain accurate account information.
- API keys are credentials — you are responsible for all activity under your keys.
- You must not share API keys across unrelated teams or embed them in publicly accessible repositories.
- We reserve the right to revoke keys that violate these Terms without notice.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Service to build applications, run research, and integrate AI capabilities into your products, subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. Commercial use is permitted.
5. Service Level & Availability
We target 99.5% monthly uptime across all inference endpoints. Planned maintenance is communicated with at least 24 hours' notice. Credits are not issued for downtime below 0.5% per month. We do not guarantee response latency or model output quality.
6. Pricing & Billing
Usage is billed in credits (USD equivalent) per million tokens as shown on the models page. Credits are prepaid; the Service does not extend credit. See Billing Terms for full details.
7. Data & Privacy
We process API request content only to route and fulfill your request. We do not use your prompts or completions to train models. See Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum for details.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to content you submit. We retain all rights to the Service infrastructure, platform, and tooling. Model outputs are governed by the respective model providers' terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloudSigma AG's total liability arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CloudSigma AG harmless from any claims, damages, and costs arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, your API keys are deactivated and unused credit balances are refunded per the Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms. Material changes are notified via email or platform notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canton Zug, Switzerland.
